Your card on file is managed inside your account settings, not on the main dashboard. Here is the path:

  1. Open the gear or Settings menu in the left navigation.
  2. Click Company Billing.
  3. Open the Billing section.
  4. Select the Payments tab.

That Payments tab is where your saved card lives. The card shown there is the one we charge for your monthly plan, so it is the card you want to keep current.

Replace the card on file

On the Payments tab:

  1. Click Add Payment Method, or the edit option next to the existing card.
  2. Enter the new card number, expiration, and security code.
  3. Save it, then set it as the default payment method so future invoices use it.
  4. If an old card is still listed, remove it once the new one is set as default.

That is it. Your next invoice will run on the new card automatically.

If a partner or agency manages your billing

Some accounts are billed through a partner or agency rather than directly. If that is your setup, the card on file still lives on your own account billing page, the one described above. The partner sees the charges on their side, but the card that gets charged is the one saved in your Payments tab.

If you cannot see a Company Billing option at all, your account is likely billed entirely on the partner's side. In that case, contact the partner who set you up and they can send you a secure link to update the card.

A quick note on what gets charged

The card on the Payments tab covers your monthly plan. Any usage based add ons or messaging credits draw from the same card unless your account is set up differently. Keeping one current card on file avoids a failed charge that could pause your service.
