A saved reply is a message your team sends often, such as a first reply to a new family or a thank you to a referral partner. You write and approve it once in FrequencyOS, and it appears in HighLevel as a Snippet, ready to drop into a conversation.
A saved reply never sends itself. Timed follow ups (a monthly nurture note, a three step partner reintroduction) are automations, not saved replies, and live in the Blueprint instead.
Where to find them here
Open Content Studio, then Saved replies. Replies are grouped by sales stage. Each one has a text version and an email version. Open a reply to edit it and preview it. Anything in [square brackets] must be filled in by hand before sending.
Getting a reply into HighLevel
- Open the reply and make any edits.
- Mark it ready. A person approves every reply.
- Press Send to HighLevel. We add it, then read it back from HighLevel to prove it arrived.
This does not message anyone. It only adds the reply to your HighLevel Snippets library.
Using a reply in HighLevel (from HighLevel's own guide)
These steps come from HighLevel's official article, Create and Use Text and Email Snippets.
- In your sub-account, click Conversations.
- Open the conversation with the person you want to message.
- Choose the channel (text or email).
- Click the Snippets icon in the message box.
- Browse the folders or search for the reply.
- Select it. The wording fills the message box.
- Read it, fill in anything in [brackets], check the name filled in correctly, then send.
HighLevel notes that choosing a snippet does not lock the message, so you can still edit it before sending.
Text vs email: HighLevel keeps Text Snippets and Email Snippets separate. The text version appears when you write a text, the email version when you write an email.
Names fill in: {{contact.first_name}} is a HighLevel custom value and becomes the person's first name.
On your phone: the LeadConnector mobile app shows snippet folders and search in Conversations (HighLevel changelog).
Seeing the whole library: in HighLevel, go to Conversations, then Snippets (also under Marketing, then Snippets).
If you cannot see the Snippets icon
HighLevel requires the Conversations, View & manage conversation permission. An admin turns it on in Settings, My Staff, choose the person, Roles & Permissions, Conversations.
Using a reply inside an automation
HighLevel's Send SMS workflow step has a Templates picker that can fill in a saved text. Email workflow steps use HighLevel's separate email templates, not snippets. We set automations up with you rather than from this page.
Changing a reply that is already in HighLevel
HighLevel does not let outside apps edit a snippet once it exists. If you change a reply here, it shows as Edited since HighLevel. We add the new version when you approve it, and the old one is removed in HighLevel (Conversations, Snippets, the three dot menu, Delete) so nobody picks the wrong one.
